This course is offered as either a self-paced eCourse, instructor guided Internet course or an online instructor led course. It will teach you all the fundamental skills you need to fully take advantage of the new ArcGIS Server 10 platform.  The course is self-paced and is designed to accommodate busy work and family schedules.

ArcGIS Server provides an integrated solution for managing, disseminating and analysis of GIS data.  Starting with the basic concepts of ArcGIS Server and moving to advanced web application development techniques with JavaScript, Flex, or Silverlight you will acquire the skills necessary for publishing your GIS content to users over the web or through traditional desktop means.

• Understanding of GIS Resources and Services
• Service Types Available with ArcGIS Server (maps, geodata, geometry, geoprocessing, feature, KML, and more)
• How to Publish Map Documents (.mxd) to ArcGIS Server as Services
• How to Publish Geoprocessing Models and Tasks
• How to Start, Stop, Pause, and Remove Services
• Map Caching Techniques for Optimizing Performance
• Create Basic Web Applications using ArcGIS Server Manager
• User Interface Creation using ArcGIS Server Manager
• Use ArcGIS Online Services in your Applications
• Build custom applications with JavaScript, Flex, or Silverlight (You choose one)
